David Eugene Edwards

In dark times, I find myself finding my way to his music. This is David Eugene Edwards, the lead guy from 16 Horsepower (a great band, and one of my favorites), now of Wovenhand. Here he is solo, with his mandolin-banjo hybrid (an original 19th century instrument):

He understands the burden and struggle of faith, the hard, sweaty nights and the long early mornings where guilt and shame find their way to the light of the cross.
